Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) is the qualifying body for dispensing opticians globally. It was established in UK in 1986, to promote better education, train dispensing opticians and improve the practice of dispensing optics. There is a lack of professionally qualified optical dispensers worldwide. That is why Sankara Nethralaya through The Sankara Nethralaya Academy has designed this course in collaboration with ABDO to give you an international Fellowship of British Dispensing Opticians (FBDO). This distance learning course will open up career options in India’s blooming optical dispensing market and in the international market as well.
