The concept of Private practice introduced in Medical College set up for the first time in India. Over 800 patients are seen in Ramachandra Medical Centre and 4000 at the hospital each day
Developed functional systems in the Hospital leading to the full spectrum of higher specialty care.
Developed and promoted trauma care and emergency services
Actively worked with architect (Technicalaya) in designing, developing and equipping a multi-speciallity care centre (total net worth in excess of Rs.300 crores)

University Development
Responsible for developing Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute as a Deemed University
Primarily in charge of developing Dental, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences and SHL Colleges
Introduced innovative courses in Allied Health Sciences, Bio-informatics, Biotechnology, Human Genetics and Emergency Trauma Care
Was responsible for the development of infrastructure and equipment necessary for the college and related health care facility.
Initiated Research activities in SRMC and worked towards developing a department.
Responsible to bring an inter institutional alliance between Harvard Medical School and SRMC.
Several international collaborative initiatives taken.
